Hi there, Daniela and Gianna here,
sisters and co-founders of
Piquetberg olive oil. 

Our love for food has grown since a young age, having an Italian mother who has taught us that often the best dishes is not about the quantity of the ingredients, but rather the quality thereof. 

Piquetberg Olive Oil all started with our desire to branch out our father’s olive-farming hobby and share our liquid gold with more than just friends and family. 

THE FARM

Agtervlei farm is situated an hour and a half from the heart of Cape Town. We have been fortunate enough to call that special place our little escape from the city life. 

Farmer Adriaan started producing extra virgin olive oil back in 2012 and since then we have experimented and carefully created a combination of freshly produced olive oil to bring joy to every dish. 

WHY DO WE LOVE OUR OLIVE OIL SO MUCH? 

Extra virgin olive oil is the least processed form of olive oil retaining its natural antioxidants and vitamins, which are often lost during processing.
